Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Skelmersdale - WN8 8DY
Are you highly organised, analytical, and passionate about planning?
We're looking for a Resource Planner to join our Skelmersdale operation, where you'll be responsible for forecasting workloads, managing resource plans, and providing valuable insights to support operational performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your planning expertise within a fast-paced and dynamic logistics environment.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Analyse operational data and produce accurate forecasts to identify resource requirements and support business planning
- Create and maintain planning reports, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual administration
- Monitor and adjust short and long-term resource plans to meet customer demand and operational targets
- Work closely with operations, customers, and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and workload balancing
- Investigate planning and data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement solutions to support continuous improvement

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination, or administrative role within a fast-paced logistics, supply chain, or operational planning environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support effective decision-making
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience creating reports and analysing large volumes of data
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with stakeholders
- Experience using Power BI to analyse data is essential. Experience designing, developing and maintaining dashboards would be advantageous.
