- Creating and distributing daily staffing schedules, factoring in lunches, meetings, training and operational priorities.
- Managing holiday and absence approvals across all customer-facing departments.
- Making intraday staffing adjustments to ensure customer demand is effectively managed as resource levels change.
- Producing management information (MI) reports for senior managers and the leadership team.
- Highlighting over and understaffed periods, providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Working closely with the Analytics & Insights team to ensure reporting is accurate and provides meaningful insight.
- Supporting managers with workforce data to help optimise team performance and service delivery.
- Taking ownership of workforce planning processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Supporting the ongoing development of planning tools, reporting and scheduling processes.
- Providing general administration and operational support to the Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure planning activities run smoothly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
