We are recruiting a Resourcer to join our specialist Finance and Accountancy recruitment team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in recruitment while supporting the delivery of permanent and interim appointments across commerce, corporate and industry finance functions. You will work closely with experienced consultants to identify high calibre candidates, develop your market knowledge and deliver a professional service to candidates and clients.
The Role
As a Resourcer, you will support the full recruitment lifecycle across the Birmingham accountancy and finance market. You will be responsible for:
- Candidate sourcing
- Initial screening
- Database management
- Recruitment coordination
You will receive structured training and ongoing support from experienced consultants and senior recruiters.
Develop an understanding of the accountancy and finance recruitment market, including roles such as management accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, financial control, and finance business partnering.
- Source candidates using CV database searches, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Search for and identify suitable candidates against agreed job specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening conversations to understand experience, motivation, salary expectations, availability, and career objectives.
- Build and maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies, ensuring accurate records are maintained within our ATS - Bullhorn.
- Contact candidates professionally and provide clear information about relevant opportunities, processes, and next steps.
- Prepare candidate profiles, CV summaries, and shortlists for review by recruitment consultants.
- Coordinate interviews, manage availability, gather feedback, and support candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to deliver a positive and consultative experience.
- Research companies, market sectors, and candidate profiles to support consultant-led business development and market mapping activity.
- Track recruitment activity and contribute to agreed sourcing, quality, and performance targets.
- Take part in structured training covering candidate sourcing, recruitment processes, market knowledge, communication, sales, and client management.

About You
We are looking for an organized, motivated, and people-focused individual who is keen to develop a career in recruitment. Previous recruitment experience is not essential; we are interested in individuals with:
