Role: Account Manager
Role covers ownership of an established engineering account where client relationships are already developed and expected to be maintained and grown. Position is on a contract basis supporting white-collar engineering hiring and resourcing needs. Primary goal is to manage the account day-to-day, deliver recruitment/resourcing outcomes, and expand commercial opportunity from existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and deepen longstanding client relationships to retain business and surface new vacancies.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand engineering role requirements and timelines.
- Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely delivery of shortlisted, qualified candidates.
- Execute resourcing and recruitment activities for engineering roles.
- Source, screen, and present candidates; manage interview processes and feedback loops.
- Support offer management and candidate onboarding for contracted placements.
- Track and report performance metrics for the account and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to scale resourcing strategies while protecting the client relationship.

Qualifications & experience
- Required: Recruitment or resourcing experience with demonstrable success managing client accounts.
- Preferred: experience recruiting for or working within engineering functions or engineering companies.
- Prefer candidates able to operate autonomously on a live account and comfortable with a mix of client-facing and sourcing work.
- Level flexibility: salary and responsibilities may vary depending on whether the hire is more of a resourcer or a full account manager.

Compensation & logistics
- Salary £25,000–£35,000 depending on experience and role level (Resource vs account manager).
- Bonus: uncapped (performance-linked).
- Location: Sheffield
- Remote working allowed after successful completion of probation; remote frequency depends on seniority/level.
