Resource Manager – 6 Month Contract
Romsey | Hybrid | Inside IR35
We are recruiting an experienced Resource Manager to support a technology-focused organisation based in Romsey.
Working within a central Resource and Operations function, you will help ensure appropriately skilled and available people are assigned to projects and other business-critical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and understand project resource demand.
- Identify suitably skilled and available resources across the organisation.
- Allocate people to project delivery and short-turnaround requirements.
- Work with Resource Managers, Line Managers and project stakeholders to balance competing priorities.
- Resolve resource conflicts and support effective workforce planning.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

We’re Looking For:
- Experience in resource management, workforce planning or operational resourcing.
- Experience within Professional Services, technology, engineering or another matrix organisation would be particularly beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience balancing competing resource and project priorities.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- A proactive, resilient approach and strong problem-solving ability.
- Good Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Power BI experience would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with resource management platforms would also be beneficial.

Clearance:
SC preferred but not essential at application stage. Applicants must be able to complete BPSS screening.
