We’ll help you succeed
The work we do is underpinned by quality. We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders.
You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
The Role
The Resource Manager is accountable for defining and delivering the resourcing strategy across a business unit or sector. This role provides senior leadership across workforce planning, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement, with clear ownership of resourcing outcomes, commercial performance, and audit quality.

You will operate as a strategic decision-maker and trusted advisor to Directors and Partners, setting direction for resourcing activities, leading planning cycles, and ensuring alignment between workforce strategy and business objectives.
You’ll be someone with:
- Extensive experience in resource planning, workforce strategy, or operations within professional services
- Proven track record of leading resourcing strategy and delivering outcomes across large or complex portfolios
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to make and own high-impact decisions
- Established experience influencing senior stakeholders (Director/Partner level)
- Strong leadership capability, including team management and performance oversight
- Advanced analytical and commercial acumen, translating data into business decisions
