Are you an experienced recruitment and workforce professional who is passionate about attracting, recruiting, and retaining great people?

As part of our evolving People & Culture Directorate, we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Resourcing Manager to lead our recruitment and resourcing services and help shape the future workforce of The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team responsible for recruitment, temporary staffing, workforce resourcing, and job evaluation activity across the Trust. You will play a key role in ensuring we attract and appoint talented individuals efficiently, maintain robust workforce governance, and support services to meet their workforce requirements.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Assistant Director of People Operations, you will lead the operational delivery of the Trust's resourcing function, ensuring a high-quality, responsive, and professional service to recruiting managers, candidates, and stakeholders.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of recruitment, resourcing, and temporary staffing services.
  • Managing and developing a busy Resourcing Team, creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Supporting workforce planning and recruitment initiatives to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Managing agency and temporary staffing arrangements to ensure effective workforce supply and value for money.
  • Leading and coordinating NHS Job Evaluation and Job Matching processes across the Trust.
  • Using workforce data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and inform workforce decisions.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader who can demonstrate:

  • Significant experience within recruitment, workforce resourcing, or HR operations.
  • Experience managing recruitment or temporary staffing services within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, workforce legislation, governance, and employment practices.
  • Experience of NHS Job Evaluation or Job Matching processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple services.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
