Join the RAC as a Resourcing Team Manager

Help shape how we plan and deploy resources across our Roadside and Contact Centre operations, ensuring we're ready to support our members when they need us most.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team at the heart of the National Resource Centre. You'll combine people leadership, resource planning, forecasting and operational decision-making to make sure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in balancing operational performance, colleague wellbeing and resource efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, develop and support a team of Tactical Resourcing Specialists, creating a high-performing team where colleagues are empowered to succeed.
  • Manage the medium and short-term deployment of resources across Roadside Operations and Contact Centres, ensuring hours are placed effectively to meet business demand.
  • Review and optimise contract utilisation, banked hours and flexible working arrangements, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce wasted resource.
  • Work closely with Forecasting, Planning, Adherence and Operational teams to identify risks, resolve resourcing challenges and support the delivery of seasonal demand plans.
  • Use data, forecasting and operational insight to identify trends, resource gaps and future risks, helping the business make informed workforce planning decisions.
  • Ensure strong governance across resourcing activities, including contract adherence, downtime plans and deployment principles.
  • Champion colleague wellbeing by supporting fair and balanced resourcing decisions that work for both the business and our people.
  • Support recruitment, development and multi-skilling within the team, helping build capability and future-proof the wider function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
