Respiratory Physiology at ULHT
Respiratory Physiology at ULHT is looking for a full-time flexible and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to meet the needs of the service.
Role Overview
The post holder will be required to support the day-to-day running of the respiratory physiology service, perform reports, and supervise complex specialised investigative procedures to ensure an efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Provide a specialist clinical technical service through the resource management, quality control of equipment, education of the health care profession whilst contributing to the development of procedures and services.
- Involvement in all aspects of physiological measurement that are carried out in the Respiratory Physiology department.
- This will include using a variety of equipment and techniques to measure and monitor respiratory function for both inpatients and outpatients, assess lung disease, long term oxygen therapy assessment in an outpatient setting.
- Sleep assessment and management of CPAP and review and develop exercise testing.

Location
Posts are based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and Lincoln County Hospital with Trust-wide working.
About the Trust
Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence of significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
About the Group
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
