Respiratory Department at Ealing Hospital

The Respiratory department at Ealing Hospital seeks a Trust grade Registrar to join their team for a 12-month fixed-term post to provide temporary medical workforce cover within the Respiratory Service. The post has been established due to a temporary shortfall in trainee doctor allocations from the Deanery for the current training year. The requirement for this role will be reviewed in line with future Deanery trainee allocations and workforce requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trust Grade Registrar (ST3+ level) to join our forward-thinking Respiratory Medicine team. This post is ideal for candidates who have completed their MRCP and wish to consolidate their registrar-level competencies, gain hands-on procedural experience, and strengthen their portfolio before higher specialty training.

Our department delivers comprehensive care across acute inpatient wards, general and specialist outpatient clinics, and specialised diagnostic services. You will work alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence, continuous learning, and patient-centred innovation.

Why Work With Us?

  • Dedicated educational supervision and mentorship from experienced respiratory consultants.
  • Protected time and support for professional development, audit, and research opportunities.
  • A welcoming, inclusive department that values staff wellbeing and collaborative working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
