Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager UK (M/F)

Location: Paris, Brussels, London or Amsterdam

Our client is a leading international player in the Home Care industry, with a strong presence across Europe and global markets. Through a portfolio of leading brands, private label solutions and national brands, the company serves all major retail and distribution channels and continues to strengthen its international footprint.

As part of its ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial professional to join the team as a Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth across the UK and other strategic markets under your responsibility. You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development initiatives aligned with the company's international growth strategy.
  • Expand the customer portfolio through new client acquisition and market development.
  • Grow market share by identifying new commercial opportunities across customers and distribution channels.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent execution and continuous improvement of commercial performance.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative commercial approaches and support the company's international expansion objectives.

Profile

  • You have a successful track record in Key Account Management and Business Development within the FMCG industry, ideally gained in an international environment.
  • You are a dynamic commercial professional with excellent negotiation, relationship-building and business development skills. You combine strategic vision with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and are comfortable managing both existing business and new business acquisition.
  • Highly autonomous and results-oriented, you thrive in a fast-paced international matrix organisation and are able to build effective relationships across multiple functions and cultures.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Additional European languages would be a strong advantage.
