Role: Responsible AI Lead
Programme: Enterprise AI Governance & Adoption
Industry: Global Enterprise
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract (long-term transformation programme)
Rate: £700-800/d (inside IR35)

X4 Technology are partnered with a global corporate on a major enterprise-wide AI transformation, supporting the safe, responsible and scalable adoption of AI across its global portfolio.

Joining as Responsible AI Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and embedding best AI practices across the organisation - combining deep expertise in AI governance, risk management and ethics with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and enable innovation at scale.

You'll act as the enterprise Responsible AI SME and AI Steward for high-risk and business-critical AI solutions, ensuring AI systems are designed, developed and deployed in alignment with organisational values, regulatory requirements and Responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Own AI principles, standards, controls and assessment criteria across the AI portfolio
  • Lead AI reviews covering fairness, bias, explainability, transparency, safety and unintended consequences
  • Embed AI controls across AI lifecycle, governance, approval and risk management processes
  • Advise senior stakeholders on AI regulation, compliance, risk mitigation and responsible adoption
  • Develop practical guidance, playbooks and training to enable safe AI innovation at scale

Requirements:

  • Proven background across AI/ML, AI governance, model risk, technology risk or data science
  • Strong expertise in AI ethics, fairness, explainability, transparency and safety
  • Hands-on experience with AI risk frameworks and regulations
  • Ability to translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical enterprise controls
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing experience within complex or regulated environments
