Role summary
We are looking for a Responsible Business Coordinator to join our ESG team and support the delivery of CMS’ Responsible Business strategy and programmes.
This is a varied role with the opportunity to work across a range of social impact and sustainability initiatives. You will help deliver programmes that engage our people, strengthen relationships with clients and community partners, and support positive outcomes in the communities where we live and work.
Working closely with the Head of ESG, Senior Responsible Business Managers and the wider team, you will contribute to projects across the firm’s social impact and ESG agenda while building valuable experience in responsible business, sustainability and community engagement.
What you’ll do
You will support the planning, delivery and evaluation of Responsible Business initiatives across the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating Responsible Business programmes and activities, including employee engagement, volunteering initiatives, client collaborations and events.
- Supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of programmes to maximise participation and impact.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients, community partners, charities and other external organisations.
- Providing administrative and operational support for events, campaigns and engagement activities.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and engagement data.
- Supporting the collection, monitoring and reporting of data for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, charity partners and firm leadership.
- Assisting with budget administration, invoice processing, charitable donations, fundraising platforms and financial record keeping.
- Creating engaging communications to promote Responsible Business activities and achievements, including intranet content, presentations, email communications and promotional materials.
- Conducting research to support programme development, continuous improvement and the sharing of best practice.
- Managing a range of projects and activities independently, with support and guidance from the wider Responsible Business team.

What you’ll bring
Essential
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience in programme coordination, employee engagement, event management, communications or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach for different audiences.
- Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Good administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage competing demands.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to use your initiative.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- An interest in responsible business, sustainability, social impact or community engagement.
