Responsible Individual
Responsible to:
Service Director
Main purpose of the Job
To be the Responsible Individual for 3 solo Children's Residential homes in Warrington & Widnes area.
Service Overview
Target Group
Children and young adults requiring specialised, high-severity behavioural and emotional support.
Care Model
Holistic, individualized packages focusing on safety, emotional regulation, and personal development.
Environment
Small, registered solo residential homes.
Core Features
Therapeutic Approach
Trauma-informed care plans integrated with embedded clinical and educational support.
Staffing Ratios
High staffing levels, typically starting at a minimum of 1:1 or 2:1 support depending on individual risk and needs.
Outcomes
Aimed at building practical, social, and academic life skills to help young people transition toward independence.
Qualifications
- Relevant sector degree or Level 5 Leadership & Management (Children’s)
- Related Leadership qualification
- Knowledge of Employment legislation
- Strong understanding of Children’s services law
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Management of Children’s services
