Responsible Individual Required For EBD Young Peoples Homes
Romford
£60-£65k Depending On Experience
ASAP Start
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
We are looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to oversee and run operations for two small Childrens Homes in Romford.
Homes are supporting 8-17 years olds with EBD and challenging behaviour.
Responsible Individual Skills And Abilities
This role is open to experienced Senior Registered Managers, Area Managers and Responsible Individuals who have completed their level 5 and have previous good or outstanding inspections. Previous experience in mentoring other managers would be beneficial.
As a Responsible Individual, Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Being the RI for 2-3 small children's homes and acting on behalf of the organisation to ensure all requirements are met.
- To oversee the management of placements within all the services
- Managing the annual budget effectively
- Ensuring that staffing levels and competencies meet the requirements of the home and its residents
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of the statutory and procedural framework for residential care and communicating this to the wider team
- Providing leadership and supervision to the wider leadership team

Responsible Individual Knowledge And Experience
- Experience working with Children who have Emotional and Behavioural needs.
- Have a very good understanding of the children's homes regulations and quality standards, 2015
- Have good knowledge and experience working as a designated safeguarding lead in children's residential home (s)
- Registered Manager qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care/Children and Young Peoples Services
