We are excited to be recruiting for a talented and passionate General Manager to join a fantastic high-end restaurant in the heart of London. If you have at least 2 years of General Management and experience in a similar setting as well as a background in fine dining, we would welcome you to apply!

Duties and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operations, including maintaining high quality service standards and product delivery, staffing, reservations, and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Leading the FOH team and overseeing its operations.
  • Staff scheduling and rota management.
  • Training and development support and identifying necessary requirements.
  • Working closely with the owners to ensure thriving of the business in all operational areas of the business.
  • Monitoring financial performance, managing budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to strategies that drive revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Working closely with ownership to implement the restaurant’s vision and brand standards.

  • 2 years minimum in a GM role.
  • Previous experience working in independent restaurants not just chains.
  • Confident, approachable and with strong leadership skills.
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented.
  • Professional and able to build genuine guest rapport.
  • Strong knowledge in all financial aspects of the business including budgets and forecasting.
  • Able to identify improvements and drive revenue.
