About the Role
We’re very excited to announce the opening of Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers! A new dining destination created in partnership with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global. Set directly on the River Thames in the heart of London’s South Bank, Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers will bring together elevated British dining, exceptional hospitality and panoramic river views. With this, we are looking to add a Restaurant Host to the team to really take us to the next level!
The Restaurant Host/Hostess
As the Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the restaurant. The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create Exceptional First Impressions by delivering a warm welcome, managing reservations and guest arrivals, and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive.
- Drive a Smooth & Vibrant Service Flow by coordinating seating plans, balancing reservations and walk-ins, and working closely with the restaurant team to maximise efficiency during busy service periods.
- Build Meaningful Guest Connections through personalised interactions, accommodating special requests, resolving concerns, and sharing information about menus, events, and promotions.
- Be the Communication Hub between front and back of house teams, ensuring guest feedback, special requests, and operational updates are communicated effectively.
- Champion the Guest Experience by maintaining an inviting reception area, promoting special offers and events, and supporting the team with table resets and operational tasks whenever needed.
Salary: £12.71 p/h + very competitive service charge
