RESTAURANT MANAGER Marylebone | £45,000 to £50,000 Package
A new restaurant. A strong identity. A team to lead.
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join an exciting independent restaurant in Marylebone.
The concept brings together the food, wine and culture of the South of France and Northern Spain, with a serious focus on great produce, thoughtful cooking, excellent wine and genuinely warm hospitality.
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit in the office. You will be at the heart of the restaurant, leading the team, driving service and making sure every guest leaves wanting to come back.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead, motivate and develop the front of house team
- Set the standard for warm, knowledgeable and engaging service
- Lead from the floor during busy services
- Recruit, onboard and train your team
- Take ownership of day-to-day restaurant operations
- Support financial performance, labour and cost control
- Oversee stock, ordering and operational standards
- Work closely with the kitchen and senior management team
- Build relationships with regular guests and create a strong sense of community
- Keep standards high across service, presentation, people and operations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
