Restaurant Manager - Milk Beach Soho
COMPENSATION: £42k - £45k per annum (DOE)
LOCATION: James Court, Soho, London

150-cover restaurant with 80 covers inside, 10 at the bar and 60 covers in the outdoor courtyard

Seasonal a la carte lunch/dinner menu showcasing modern Australian cuisine - coastal, barbecue, with southeast Asian and Mediterranean influences. We also have a daily breakfast service

ROLE SUMMARY:
We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Milk Beach Soho leadership team and help deliver an exceptional experience for every guest. You’ll be a visible presence on the floor – leading the team, maintaining standards, anticipating guests’ needs and solving problems before they impact service. As an integral part of the leadership team, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the restaurant, ensuring every service runs smoothly and our guests and team are well looked after.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guest Experience & Service:
- Champion the Milk Beach guest experience and our relaxed Australian service style
- Lead by example as a visible, hands-on presence throughout service
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues confidently and maintain high service standards
- Ensure excellent restaurant presentation, cleanliness and atmosphere
Service Organisation:
- Create a clear plan and briefing for every service
- Ensure effective staffing, section allocation and clear team responsibilities
- Ensure the team has the tools, stock and information needed for smooth service
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service
Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, motivate and develop the Front of House team
- Coach the team through regular feedback, training and development
- Build strong service and product knowledge across the team
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture

Operations:
- Support the GM/AGM with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Assist with staffing, ordering and stock management
- Identify operational issues and take ownership of solutions
