Job Title: Senior Restaurant Manager – Essex

Location: Essex

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Tronc

My client is looking for an ambitious Senior Restaurant Manager to join a high-performing hospitality operation in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operator who thrives in a fine dining or high-volume environment and is looking for genuine career progression. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead a talented team and ensure exceptional standards across service and guest experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily restaurant operations and deliver consistently high service standards
  • Manage, motivate and develop a high-performing FOH team
  • Oversee rotas, labour budgets and operational performance
  • Drive covers, revenue and commercial opportunities
  • Lead training, briefings, recruitment and performance management
  • Build strong guest relationships and respond proactively to feedback
  • Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety, food safety, licensing and allergen management
  • Work closely with the General Manager to improve and develop the operation
  • Keep ahead of F&B trends and introduce new ideas

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager
  • Background in fine dining, high-volume restaurants or luxury hotels
  • Strong operational and people leadership experience
  • Excellent understanding of service and guest experience
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and labour
  • Confident, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about hospitality and developing teams
