Job Title: Senior Restaurant Manager – Essex
Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Tronc
My client is looking for an ambitious Senior Restaurant Manager to join a high-performing hospitality operation in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operator who thrives in a fine dining or high-volume environment and is looking for genuine career progression. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead a talented team and ensure exceptional standards across service and guest experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily restaurant operations and deliver consistently high service standards
- Manage, motivate and develop a high-performing FOH team
- Oversee rotas, labour budgets and operational performance
- Drive covers, revenue and commercial opportunities
- Lead training, briefings, recruitment and performance management
- Build strong guest relationships and respond proactively to feedback
- Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety, food safety, licensing and allergen management
- Work closely with the General Manager to improve and develop the operation
- Keep ahead of F&B trends and introduce new ideas

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager
- Background in fine dining, high-volume restaurants or luxury hotels
- Strong operational and people leadership experience
- Excellent understanding of service and guest experience
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and labour
- Confident, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about hospitality and developing teams
