Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Richmond Village Aston, Richmond Drive, Off Maple Drive, DE72 2EA
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time (40hrs)
Shift Pattern: Various, including shifts between 8am and 8pm (weekend availability required)

We are seeking a passionate and driven Hospitality Leader to take charge of our front-of-house operations and ensure our dining experience remains outstanding. This is an opportunity to lead a team, deliver excellence, and make a real difference in our residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in shaping the dining experience as you:
- Managing front-of-house operations: Oversee day-to-day restaurant activities, ensuring seamless service across dining, bar, and room service.
- Leadership & teamwork: Direct, recruit, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team, maintaining Richmond Villages' high standards.
- Staff rotas & budgets: Efficiently schedule teams to cover all shifts while working within agreed financial constraints.
- Resident experience: Deliver a friends hospitality experience, always prioritising a person-centred approach.
- Event coordination: Plan and execute events and functions to maximise resident engagement and revenue while collaborating with local businesses.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and wider teams to ensure consistent guest/resident satisfaction.
- Safety & compliance: Safely manage dietary, allergen, and alternative meal requirements in line with food safety regulations.
- Promotion & partnership: Support marketing efforts to promote events, functions, and dining experiences.

Key Skills & Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven hospitality/catering leadership experience, including managing front-of-house teams.
- CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety (or equivalent).
- Strong organisational, communication, and motivational skills—you’ll build and nurture relationships with residents and staff.
- Professional, flexible, and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Exceptional guest/resident service mindset—delivering consistently excellent hospitality.
- Willingness to complete a DBS check (essential for this role with vulnerable residents; Bupa will cover the £40 cost).
Because we care for vulnerable individuals, a DBS check is a requirement.
