Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Due to the nature of the shift patterns, you will need to be aged 18 or older to apply for this role. Fired up. Big heart and always bringing the energy. That's what we're looking for in our future leaders. And this is your chance to be one.

You'll start off alongside apprentices from other restaurants and get to know how we work and how we bring the heat for customers every day. Then we'll gradually help you building up your management skills to help others bring their passion every day. If you want to be a leader, this is where you learn to do it the Nando's way.

If you're looking for a great job while you work out what you want to do next, you might be better off looking at our normal Team Member roles. For this, we want people who are excited to spend three years with us, learning the restaurants inside-out and throwing yourself into the training with an eye on becoming an Assistant Manager.

At Nando's, growth is way more than just helping you to perform in your job, it's about becoming a better person inside and outside of work. You'll be making customers feel valued and making sure they leave happy every time. What's not to love?

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

Front of house:

  • Giving a warm welcome to our customers and make them feel at home
  • Serve customers efficiently at the till - understanding their needs
  • Serve amazing food to Nando's high standards that make customers feel 'Fired up', 'Wowed by the Experience' and 'Hooked for the Next Taste'
  • Bring amazing food and drink to the table and make sure our customers have everything they need
  • Manage takeaway customer experience
  • Set up, maintain, hand over and close down a clean, safe, and fully operational workstation
  • Handle deep cleaning to Nando's high standards
  • Follow all fire safety, health and safety, food hygiene and restaurant security measures

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
