Join us as we continue the exciting journey of our newly launched Edwin & Betsy's Restaurant.
Earlier this year, we proudly launched our newly refreshed Edwin & Betsy's Restaurant at Hillier Garden Centre, Weyhill, a bright, contemporary, welcoming space designed to elevate the customer experience with freshly prepared meals, light bites, cakes and quality barista beverages. It has quickly become a favourite stop for visitors enjoying our much‑loved garden centre, known for its exceptional plants, gifts and outdoor living ranges.
We are now seeking an experienced, passionate and hands‑on Restaurant Manager to help shape the next stage of Edwin & Betsy's development and ensure the restaurant continues to thrive.
About The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding customer service, excellent food quality and smooth operational delivery. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, manage stock and supplies, maintain compliance, control costs and work closely with the Garden Centre Manager to drive performance and enhance the customer experience.

This is a full‑time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week), worked on a rota basis including alternate weekends.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven hospitality management experience across both front and back of house
- Strong kitchen knowledge with the ability to step in and support when required
- Thorough understanding of allergens and food safety
- Confident in maintaining and monitoring Health & Safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, solutions‑focused approach with a positive “can‑do” attitude
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work with pace, energy and passion
- Exceptional attention to detail and a forward‑thinking mindset
- Professional, flexible and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to build strong teamwork and deliver an exceptional customer experience
