Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our F&B team, based within our Chinese restaurant, The Billiards.

The on target earning potential for this role is £47,000 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising of a base salary of £35,700 per annum, plus a qualified estimate of £12,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this is a projected salary and OTE.

Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Manager in The Billiards you will lead, motivate, train and manage the operations for the restaurant. Reporting directly to the General Manager of The Billiards, you will lead from the front and manage the smooth operational running of service and ensure the team deliver an exceptional and memorable experience for our members and guests. You will assist with the achievement of financial targets and coaching and developing the restaurant team.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in Restaurant management within a luxury hotel or premium brand.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with a diverse range of people – you can quickly understand, influence and negotiate, as well as document and explain complex requirements to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience managing the daily operations, set up, standards, operating procedures.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
  • Someone who takes responsibility and initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas with creative thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

Gratuities (tips) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
