RESTAURANT SALES MANAGER

Birmingham & Manchester

At Sticks’n’Sushi we serve high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of classic and creative sushi along with sticks from the grill. But we're not just in the restaurant business - we're in the business of birthdays, first dates, client wins, celebrations, reunions and memorable nights that people talk about long after the bill has been paid.

That's where you come in. We're looking for a Restaurant Sales Manager to help make our new Sticks’n’Sushi restaurants in Birmingham and Manchester two of the cities' most sought-after destinations for events, private dining, corporate entertaining and group occasions.

This isn't a role where you'll be handed a list of clients and told to keep the enquiries coming. We're looking for someone who creates opportunities. Someone who loves meeting people, building relationships and opening doors. Someone who gets a buzz from turning a conversation into a booking, a booking into a great experience, and a great experience into a loyal guest. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships and a sales pipeline across two exciting new restaurant openings - getting out into the cities, connecting with local businesses, agencies, hotels and hospitality partners, finding the people who need to know about us.

Attracting both families and trendsetters, amazing service in beautiful restaurants is driven by our amazing team - our 'Strange Fish'. Fish are like us: we all swim together. But 'Strange Fish' are bold, curious and unapologetically themselves. People with big smiles and small egos. People who think "we" before "I". Sound like you?

Are you...

  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys getting out into the city and meeting people?
  • Commercially minded and motivated by winning new business and growing revenue?
  • Confident speaking with everyone from office managers to CEOs, event agencies and hospitality partners?
  • Someone who spots opportunities before everyone else does and isn't afraid to go after them?
  • Organised enough to juggle multiple enquiries, proposals, meetings and events across two locations?
  • Curious, proactive and comfortable creating your own pipeline rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you?
  • Excited by the challenge of helping build something from the ground up?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
