Restaurant Service Cum Cash Handling & POS Machine Operator
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Restaurant Service Cum Cash Handling & POS Machine Operator in Singapore. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals to support restaurant customer service, cashiering, billing, POS operations, and daily restaurant activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient customer service and assist restaurant guests with orders and general requirements.
- Operate POS machines accurately for order entry, billing, and payment transactions.
- Handle cash and other approved payment methods accurately.
- Process bills, payments, receipts, and related cashiering transactions.
- Coordinate with restaurant/service staff to ensure accurate order and payment processing.
- Support basic restaurant operational duties, including service-area readiness and replenishment.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and follow established cashiering procedures.
- Assist with general restaurant duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills
- Restaurant Customer Service — handle customer-facing service and order-related requirements.
- Cash Handling — accurately receive, count, and process cash payments.
- POS Machine Operation — enter orders and process transactions through POS systems.
- Billing & Payment Handling — prepare bills and process payment transactions accurately.
- Restaurant Support — assist with routine front-of-house and restaurant operations.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital/card payment terminals.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant billing and cashiering procedures.
- Food-service or hospitality experience.
Work Experience Requirements
Typical requirement: 1–3 years of experience in restaurant service, F&B, cashiering, or POS operations. Candidates with hands-on experience operating restaurant POS systems and handling customer payments are suitable for consideration. Singapore food-service roles commonly combine customer service, POS, cashiering, and payment duties.
Education
- Minimum: Secondary education or equivalent (typical)
- Preferred: Diploma/qualification in Hospitality, F&B, or related field
- Additional: Relevant food-service/POS training preferred
