Full-time | Permanent | Competitive salary + service charge

At Burley Manor, we believe great hospitality is about more than serving food and drink — it’s about creating memorable experiences that make people want to come back.

Set in the heart of the New Forest, Burley Manor is a beautiful and distinctive hotel where relaxed country charm meets thoughtful, modern hospitality. You’ll help create an environment where the team feels supported, motivated and confident, while ensuring our guests enjoy the warm, personal service that Burley Manor is known for.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welcoming guests and building genuine relationships with them
  • Supporting with briefings, training and coaching for team members
  • Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure smooth service
  • Handling guest requests and resolving any issues calmly and professionally
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are always maintained
  • Helping to drive sales and maximise opportunities to enhance the guest experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
