We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor, to join our team at The Crazy Goose.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we’ve recently rebranded the restaurant, bringing a fresh energy and identity to The Crazy Goose. Black Rock Restaurants is one of the most exciting restaurant groups in Brighton, with a number of opportunities to develop your career across the group.
This role would suit someone who is ambitious and eager to progress into a management role, and who genuinely loves people, food and beverages. If you’re someone who enjoys being at the heart of the restaurant, leading from the front and creating memorable experiences for guests, we’d love to hear from you.
Our obsession with going above and beyond is inspired by the Persian concept of “Nooshe jân”. Used in a similar way to “bon appetit”, it also has a deeper meaning that translates more like “may it nourish your soul”. Because the experience we want to create goes way beyond a nice meal. We talk about our drinks, service, and atmosphere because we know they’re as important to customers as our food.
Our menu brings together bold flavours, the very best seasonal ingredients, and honest cooking over fire. Designed around vibrant small plates made for sharing, our dishes celebrate great produce, generous hospitality, and the simple pleasure of gathering around the table.

The Role
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll be passionate, driven and enthusiastic about working in an environment with a real neighbourhood feel and an atmosphere that feels like an extension of your family.
You’ll play an important role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, supporting your team and helping to create the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
Your passion, flexibility and positive attitude will mean you’re happy to go the extra mile to ensure our guests have a great time, while keeping your team motivated and delivering a consistently high standard of service.
Our Restaurant Supervisor
- Is a self-motivated natural team player who thrives under pressure
- Has a keen eye for detail on the restaurant floor
- Has experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Has a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Is an enthusiastic and confident figure who is able to motivate and inspire the team in a busy environment
- Maintains a professional manner while under pressure
- Has excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is eligible to work full-time in the UK
