As a Cafe Assistant at The Lighthouse Mumbles, you will play a key role in ensuring that our café runs smoothly and that our customers enjoy a top-notch experience. You’ll assist with a variety of tasks, including serving customers and running food and drink orders, keeping the café clean and organised, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or customer service environment is preferred but not essential.
- A friendly and approachable attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables.
- Take customer orders and answer any menu-related questions.
- Ensure that the café is clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the day.
- Support team members in delivering great service and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
