Role Description
This full-time, on-site role in London is for a Restoration or Lead Technician or Trainee Technician, depending on experience. The role involves attending damaged properties, assessing the impact of incidents such as fire, flood, and contamination, and carrying out restoration, cleaning, drying, and decontamination activities according to company procedures.

- Using specialist equipment
- Following safety and compliance guidelines
- Documenting work carried out
- Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and insurers
The technician will support the reinstatement of properties and contents, ensuring high standards of quality and customer service while working in varied environments and occasionally outside standard working hours.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in restoration, cleaning, and basic maintenance, with the ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, including clear reporting, teamwork, and professional interaction with clients and partners.
- Ability to follow procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards, with attention to detail and reliability.
- Physical capability to work on-site, including manual handling, working in challenging environments, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic IT and documentation skills for completing reports, checklists, and job records accurately.
- Willingness to learn restoration techniques and progress from trainee to technician or lead technician, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Previous experience in restoration, facilities, construction, or a related field is an advantage but not essential for trainee applicants.
- Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to different sites in and around London is beneficial.
