Restoration Technician / Senior Restoration Technician
Location: Central Scotland, covering the whole of Scotland
Company: Disaster Care Scotland Central

Disaster Care Scotland Central is recruiting experienced Restoration Technicians and Senior Restoration Technicians to join our rapidly expanding team.
Following our recent takeover by Aviva, we are entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for qualified professionals who can deliver high-quality restoration services to homes and businesses affected by flooding, fire, and other property damage.
The Role
You will attend properties throughout Scotland to assess damage and carry out professional restoration work. This role requires travel across Scotland and, from time to time, overnight stays and working away from home.

Responsibilities will include:
- Water-damage restoration, drying and dehumidification
- Fire and smoke-damage restoration
- Cleaning, sanitising and odour control
- Conducting site assessments and recording moisture readings
- Installing and monitoring specialist drying equipment
- Completing accurate reports and job documentation
- Communicating professionally with customers, colleagues and other parties
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- An IICRC or BDMA qualification at Technician or Senior Technician level
- Previous experience within the damage-management or restoration industry
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout Scotland
- Willingness to work away from home when required
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional, reliable and practical approach
