Your Tasks
The Restoration Technician plays a key role in restoring homes affected by fire or flood, ensuring customers can safely return to their properties as quickly and confidently as possible. The role focuses on delivering high-quality mitigation, restoration, and customer care that supports insurer expectations and provides a smooth, reassuring experience for affected homeowners.
Accurate and Insightful Damage Assessment:
- Assess the extent and type of fire or water damage to enable clear, accurate restoration decisions.

Efficient and Effective Restoration Planning:
- Develop and deliver safe and practical restoration plans to ensure a smooth and prompt handover to reinstatement team.
High-Standard Water and Fire Mitigation:
- Perform mitigation tasks such as water extraction, wet and contaminated material strip-out, soot decontamination, and drying equipment setup.
Clean, Safe, and Habitable Environments:
- Complete decontamination, sanitising, deodorising, and debris removal to restore safe conditions of properties.
Clear, Accurate Documentation:
- Maintain a detailed log of works completed including recording accurate moisture readings, update insurance systems, produce floorplans, and support claim processes.
Positive and Supportive Customer Experience:
- Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and colleagues, providing reassurance and updates.

Consistent Safety and Compliance Adherence:
- Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
Your Profile
- BDMA and/or IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT, etc.) – (Desirable)
- Valid driver’s license
