Job Title: Restructuring Analyst
Location: London, Hybrid
Job Reference Number: 35693
Salary: £180,000 - £200,000 plus a bonus
Direct the restructuring actions of a leading law firm in a unique analytical function, where you'd be identifying the key restructuring situations in the market, and collaborating with high performing solicitors on them.
This law firm works across EMEA and cross border with the US, and its restructuring team is market leading. This is a role for someone with a financial rather than a legal background, who has excellent experience working on & knowledge of restructurings and wants a new perspective on the market. This in-house seat will give exposure across the breadth of the market in order to identify restructuring situations before they become live.
This is a role with for someone who has the analytical rigour to evaluate the market and the commercial nous to apply this analysis in order to originate new business. You will advise this firm's Partners on their decision making, produce relevant materials and work in direct collaboration with leading solicitors during these restructurings.

Key Responsibilities
- Originate and manage the restructuring opportunities pipeline by producing actionable intelligence on emerging situations across EMEA and cross-border with the US.
- Monitor a wide range of companies, sectors and capital markets to identify the catalysts for restructurings and develop and communicate informed views on topical situations.
- Collaborate internally across the firm on the restructuring situations, directly advising Partners in support of the firm's new business efforts.

Key Requirements
- An extensive track record of financial analysis of restructurings gained from work either at an intelligence provider, management consultancy, financial advisor or investment bank.
- Advanced financial modelling, with a proven understanding of valuation theory, methodology and applications and the communication skills required to communicate that analysis as actionable commercial advice.
- A collaborative working style suited to working in a cross-disciplinary environment.
- Strong AI literacy to implement AI tools effectively into your workflow, and support others in doing so.
