Company Description
A top 50 Law firm with offices across London and the UK are seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate/Senior Associate (4–8 PQE) to join the firm’s highly regarded and growing London team.
Role Description
You will advise a broad range of clients across both contentious and non-contentious matters leaning towards non-contentious work.
In addition to supporting clients across the UK, the team frequently advise on a wide variety of cross-border transactions and recoveries.
Responsibilities
- Advising on restructuring and insolvency matters, including insolvency office holders, lenders, directors, investors, and corporates.
- Advising on distressed M&A transactions, acting for both buy-side and sell-side clients across a variety of sectors, including coordinating with overseas counsel where required.
- Advising boards of large corporates, start-ups, and scale-ups through periods of financial stress and distress, including on directors’ duties, contingency planning, and restructuring options.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of restructuring and insolvency documentation.

The Ideal Candidate
Please apply if you have between 5- 8 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency law gained in a leading regional or national law firm. You must have experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
You should have the ability to analyse complex financial and legal information and a proactive networker with a proven track record of business development.
