A leading advisory firm is looking to appoint an Associate into its growing Restructuring team in London.

The firm advises corporates, private equity sponsors, lenders and other stakeholders across a broad range of complex restructuring and special situations, including financial restructurings, distressed situations, liability management and turnaround mandates.

This is an opportunity to join a highly active platform with strong deal flow and significant exposure to live situations. The role offers direct interaction with senior advisers, management teams, sponsors and lenders, alongside the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility across transaction execution and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute restructuring and special situations mandates across a range of sectors
  • Build and review financial, restructuring and cash flow models
  • Analyse capital structures, liquidity and restructuring options
  • Prepare client presentations, financial analysis and transaction materials
  • Manage workstreams across management teams, sponsors, lenders and advisers
  • Support business development through market analysis and pitch materials
  • Assist senior team members with client and stakeholder management

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years’ experience in restructuring, investment banking, debt advisory or a related field
  • Strong financial modelling and transaction execution skills
  • Good understanding of capital structures, debt markets and restructuring processes
  • Experience managing transaction workstreams and junior team members
  • Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in restructuring and special situations
  • Strong academic background and proven track record within a high-performing team
