To establish and lead a new regional Restructuring & Recovery offering within a highly successful national accounting and advisory firm. This role combines the autonomy and influence of building a service line with the support and infrastructure of an established business, creating a genuine platform for future equity and leadership progression.
Client Details
Our client is a leading national professional services firm with an established reputation across audit, tax, advisory and consulting. With a strong presence throughout the Midlands and significant investment in growth, the firm is seeking a commercially minded restructuring leader to launch and develop its regional restructuring proposition, capitalising on an extensive existing client base and partner network.

Description
- Establish and lead the Midlands Restructuring & Recovery service offering
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the function
- Originate and win restructuring, refinancing, turnaround and insolvency-related assignments
- Build relationships with lenders, private equity houses, intermediaries, legal firms and key referral sources
- Lead complex advisory engagements including business reviews, cash flow forecasting, contingency planning and stakeholder advisory
- Work closely with partners across audit, tax, corporate finance and business advisory to maximise cross-selling opportunities
- Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing restructuring team
Profile
- Extensive experience within restructuring, recovery, turnaround, insolvency or related advisory services
- Proven track record of winning and delivering restructuring assignments
- Existing network of introducers and market contacts across the Midlands
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
- Experience leading teams and developing future talent
