Restructuring & Insolvency Trainee

You’ll be supported from day one, learning from experienced colleagues while gaining hands-on experience.

What you'll need

  • Right to work in the UK from your start date.
  • England & Wales: Level 4+ GCSE English & Maths.
  • Minimum of 96 UCAS points.
  • Scotland: 4 Highers, grade B or above, including English & Maths.
  • Note: this role is not suitable if you are currently studying for, or already hold, an undergraduate or master’s degree.

Joining our Restructuring & Insolvency team

What is Restructuring & Insolvency?

As a Restructuring and Insolvency Associate, you’ll support Senior Administrators, Managers, and Directors in delivering professional restructuring and insolvency services to our clients. You’ll assist with preparing reports, proposals, presentations, letters, invoices, and ad hoc documents, including mail merges. Strong IT skills are essential for maintaining well-organised working files. As you develop in your role, you’ll conduct web-based research and assist with Anti-Money Laundering checks and ID verification.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist with client acceptance procedures and maintain records of receipts and payments in client estates.
  • Print and collate reports, handle telephone enquiries, and accurately pass on messages.
  • Prepare and format documents, letters, and presentations for client work.
  • Support Anti-Money Laundering checks and verification processes.
  • Conduct web-based research to support client cases and projects.
  • Maintain well-organised digital and physical files.

Qualifications

We offer a range of qualification pathways at Azets, determined by the role you apply for. For this position, you’ll undertake the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.
