Restructuring Associate – NQ–1 PQE
Elite US Law Firm | London
An elite US law firm is looking to add an NQ–1 PQE Associate to its growing London Restructuring practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking for high-quality restructuring work, strong partner exposure, and early client responsibility within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
The Team
The London restructuring practice is in an exciting period of growth, with significant recent investment at partner level, including senior hires from leading Magic Circle firms.
The team advises across the capital structure, acting for corporates, private equity sponsors, distressed investors, private credit funds, senior lenders, and creditor groups on sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters.

The Work
Associates can expect exposure to a broad range of complex restructuring and special situations work, including:

- Private credit and stressed situations
- Formal insolvencies
- Cross-border restructurings
The wider firm has a particularly strong private capital platform, creating opportunities to work on stressed and distressed situations involving sponsors, credit investors, and portfolio companies.

The Candidate
The team is looking to speak with lawyers at NQ–1 PQE who have a genuine interest in developing their career in restructuring.
Candidates may already have restructuring experience or have trained within a strong banking, leveraged finance, private credit, insolvency, or restructuring practice and be interested in specialising.
Strong academics, excellent technical skills, and training from a leading UK, US, or international law firm are expected.
