Downey Osborne is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services firm to recruit a Restructuring Manager to join their growing advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restructuring professional to work on a varied portfolio of challenging assignments, advising businesses and stakeholders on financial, operational and strategic matters.

About You
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in restructuring, insolvency, turnaround or advisory
- Strong financial analysis and commercial skills
- Experience managing client assignments and projects
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
- Proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused

About Your New Role
Always
- Manage restructuring and advisory assignments
- Analyse financial performance, cash flow and business viability
- Develop practical solutions to financial and operational challenges
- Prepare and review financial analysis and client reports
- Manage client relationships, deadlines and engagement risks
- Review and support the work of junior team members

- Prepare financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis
- Assess business plans and restructuring options
- Work with management teams, lenders and professional advisers
- Attend client meetings and present findings and recommendations
- Support senior colleagues on complex assignments
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance and cash flow
Occasionally
- Assist with insolvency and turnaround assignments
- Support transaction and restructuring projects
- Contribute to proposals, pitches and business development
- Attend networking and client events
- Support wider advisory projects and initiatives
