Role Overview
The Resuscitation Practice Development Nurse/Paramedic will support the Resuscitation Practice Development Manager in delivering high-quality, evidence-based resuscitation training across the Trust, spanning inpatient, community, and specialist settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an in-house ILS Tutor
- Deliver ward-based in-situ training and assessments
- Support early recognition of the deteriorating patient
- Provide ad-hoc and specialist training across Trust teams
- Offer one-to-one support following ILS/BLS training
- Coordinate training activity to maximise compliance
- Oversee resuscitation equipment and maintain administrative records
- Contribute to audit and service improvement activities
- Deputise for the team manager as required
- Maintain professional registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge
