In addition to our branded portfolio, DTS Trading Inc. develops and supplies private label solutions for leading retailers across multiple product categories, delivering innovative products, dependable supply, and category expertise.
About the Role
DTS Trading Inc. is seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Retail Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with major retail customers across the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing existing retail accounts, securing new retail listings, expanding product assortments, and driving the development of private label programmes. The key requirement is a proven track record of successfully selling into and account managing retail customers. Product category experience is not essential; the ability to demonstrate strong retail sales and account management experience is what matters most.

Location: Remote – travel to clients is essential
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with key retail accounts across the UK and Europe.
- Manage day-to-day commercial relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
- Increase product listings and expand retail assortments across all three DTS brands: DTS Protect®, Vi-PRO®, and SILEX®.
- Identify and secure new retail business opportunities with national and regional retailers.
- Lead the development and growth of private label programmes from concept through to launch.
- Collaborate with retail customers to identify category opportunities, market trends, and new product development initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver joint business plans that support sustainable sales growth.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotional plans, and annual trading terms.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to deliver effective promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store activation programmes.
- Analyse sales performance, market data, and category trends to identify opportunities for growth and improved retail performance.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Product Development, and Marketing teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project delivery.
- Represent DTS Trading Inc. at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience selling into and managing retail accounts, ideally with a demonstrable track record of winning listings, growing accounts, and building strong relationships with retail buyers and category managers. Product or sector background is not important.
- Demonstrated success selling into and account managing retail customers, with clear evidence of delivering sales growth and developing commercial relationships.
- Experience developing and managing private label programmes.
- Strong commercial selling and account management skills, with the ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and grow retail accounts.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using sales reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe as required.
