Administration and Development Coordinator

We are excited to be recruiting for an Administration and Development Coordinator on a fixed term basis to join our fantastic Rapport team based in Battersea, London.

Our client is one of the biggest tech companies in the world specializing in consumer electronics; manufactures and markets mobile communication and media devices, personal computers and portable digital music players, and sells a variety of related software and online services, headquartered in California, US.

Job Details

  • Duration: 12-month fixed term contract
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week

Main Responsibilities

The Administration and Development Coordinator provides assistance to the development team and proactively seeks ways to streamline daily processes and procedures.

  • Create and maintain project files (digital, hard copy locally and Corporate Office) to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Coordinate the preparation and assembly of development, construction, submission and permitting documents for presentations and meetings
  • Communicate between multiple departments and coordinate internal and external meetings
  • Communicate with the corporate head office to schedule meetings, approvals and updates
  • Coordinate construction and development contracts for approval and payment and while ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Assist in general administrative tasks such as calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, document control and compliance reporting
  • Proactively seeks ways to streamline daily processes and procedures. Provide support as required on multiple development projects.
  • General office administration
  • Track, monitor and report maintenance work orders for a period of one year.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Qualifications

  • Must be a self starter who is comfortable working independently without direction
  • Excellent analytical, statistics or research experience required
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • A good understanding of software packages including Excel, Word, Page, Keynote, Numbers
