We're partnering with a globally recognised entertainment and consumer brands business, seeking a Retail & Brand Commercial Manager to join their Consumer Products team on a 12-month contract.
12 Month Contract | Hybrid | London
£185 Day Rate
Immediate Start
This is a commercially focused role, sitting at the intersection of retail, licensing and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial performance across key UK & Ireland retail partners, using marketing activity, consumer insight and sales data to maximise brand visibility, engagement and ultimately sales.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience across retail, fashion, licensing or consumer brands, with a strong commercial mindset and proven marketing experience. They'll be comfortable monitoring sales and performance against KPIs, developing retail activations and working closely with commercial teams to deliver growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of short and long-term retail marketing strategies across key UK & Ireland partners.
- Develop and execute omnichannel retail campaigns and activations designed to drive brand awareness, sell-in and sales performance.
- Work closely with Retail, Category and Franchise teams to develop bespoke marketing plans for key retail accounts.
- Monitor sales, campaign performance and consumer data, providing analysis and recommendations to support commercial KPIs and growth.
- Prepare pitch materials, business reviews and sales tools, ensuring commercial insights are integrated into marketing plans.
- Identify key consumer, retail and social trends and use these insights to inform commercial and marketing strategies.
- Build strong relationships with commercial leads and retail partners, supporting joint business planning and strategic growth.
- Work closely with internal franchise and creative teams to ensure brand consistency, as well as external agencies where required.
- Support the development of innovative campaigns that strengthen fan engagement and recruit new consumers across the client's portfolio of brands.

About You
The client is looking for someone with:
- 3-5 years' experience in retail, fashion, licensing, consumer brands or a similar commercial environment.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with experience monitoring sales, performance and KPIs to drive results.
- Proven experience developing and executing retail marketing activations and campaigns.
- A strong understanding of the relationship between marketing activity and commercial performance.
- Experience working with retailers, partners or commercial stakeholders and building strong relationships.
- Understanding of digital, social and influencer marketing, with performance marketing experience beneficial.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing pitch and business review materials.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a large, fast-paced and matrixed organisation.
