π’ Senior Surveyor β Retail & Leisure Lease Advisory
π London | Hybrid Working π― MRICS | 1β3 Years PQE
A leading UK property consultancy is looking to appoint an MRICS Senior Surveyor to join its market-leading Retail & Leisure Lease Advisory team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified surveyor to build their career within one of the strongest teams in the sector, advising major institutional landlords across out-of-town retail parks, leisure parks and other retail & leisure assets throughout England and Wales.
You'll work closely with experienced Partners while having direct exposure to clients, negotiations and a varied national portfolio.
The Role
You'll be responsible for a range of Retail & Leisure lease advisory instructions, including:
- Rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gears
- Advising on rental values and lease strategy
- Researching and analysing comparable rental evidence
- Reading and interpreting leases and assessing their impact on value
- Negotiating directly with tenants and their agents
- Preparing reports and recommendations for clients
- Drafting Heads of Terms, quoting rents and Calderbank offers
- Supporting Expert Witness work and Third Party disputes
- Undertaking property inspections across the UK
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing your own client network

You'll also work closely with colleagues across Asset Management, Investment, Industrial & Logistics and Offices, providing clients with joined-up commercial property advice.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- MRICS qualified
- Ideally 1β3 years PQE
- Experienced in Lease Advisory / Landlord & Tenant
- Knowledgeable across rent reviews and lease renewals
- Ideally experienced within Retail & Leisure property
- Commercially minded with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing directly with clients and negotiating with agents
- Able to manage multiple live instructions and deadlines
- Interested in business development and building their own client relationships
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable travelling for inspections
