Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail and Ticketing Systems Administrator to join our team at the bet365 Stadium.

This role is pivotal in ensuring our supporters receive a seamless experience, whether they are purchasing merchandise or securing tickets for matchdays. Reporting to the Retail and Ticketing Systems Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of our digital platforms, providing essential technical support and ensuring our systems operate efficiently. If you are a proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent service, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position typically Monday to Friday, however, as this role supports matchdays, events, and peak operational periods, availability for evenings and weekends is essential. Training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to support our systems and processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining product details, website content, and digital assets across all retail and ticketing platforms to ensure high standards.
  • Creating and managing retail and ticketing promotions and discount codes.
  • Processing online refunds in accordance with Club policies.
  • Providing first-line technical support for retail and ticketing systems, liaising with software providers to ensure swift resolutions.
  • Supporting event setups and conducting pre-match system testing to ensure operational readiness.
  • Assisting the wider retail and ticketing teams during peak periods by handling supporter enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Club policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and betting integrity rules.
  • Supporting a culture that demonstrates the Club’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
