Apprentice Travel Advisor (Greenock Store) – Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship
Here at TUI, you’ll find we’re an inclusive company with a culture of care and by joining the Retail Team as an Apprentice Travel Advisor in our Greenock store, we’ll provide you with a valuable insight into the world of travel while fully supporting you in working towards the Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship. Our two-year Apprenticeship Scheme is structured to develop you into a destination expert, empowering you to recommend and sell holidays, cruises, UK breaks, and additional products. Your role will focus on making unforgettable holiday experiences that put customers at the heart of our business—helping us remain the best-loved holiday company.
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Travel Advisor, you’ll:
- Provide excellent customer service, creating unforgettable holiday experiences
- Work towards earning your Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification
- Engage with customers both in person and virtually
- Embrace new ways of working and adapt to industry changes with support from training
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer questions and complaints
- Contribute to weekly tasks, including:
- Completing practical and written assignments via our online learning platform
- Participating in development sessions supported by your manager and learning coach
- Ensure you smash your targets by achieving your sales and service goals

Shift Details
- Varied shift patterns, including:
- Weekends
- Bank holidays
- Evenings (particularly during busier periods)

Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Passionate enthusiasm for travel and customer service excellence
- Dedication to achieving targets and committing to Positive Business goals
- Self-motivation—willing to learn from feedback and stay proactive
- Adaptability—comfortable with change and embedding new ways of working
- Strong collaborative instinct, working well with both colleagues and customers
- Problem-solving attitude and a culture of inquiry in resolving issues
- Organisation and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Grade 9–4 (A–C) or equivalent in both Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Flexibility to commit to a shift pattern aligned with store opening hours
