Role Description
This is a part-time to full-time, on-site Retail Assistant role based in Sherborne, Dorset. The Retail Assistant will greet and assist customers, provide product information, and support a positive in-store experience. Daily responsibilities include:

The Retail Assistant will collaborate with the store team to meet sales goals and uphold The Country Crib’s high standards of service and presentation.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with a commitment to building positive relationships.
- Effective Communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond clearly.
- Experience in retail preferred, including operating point-of-sale systems and supporting store targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude.
- Attention to detail in merchandising, stock handling, and maintaining a tidy, welcoming store environment.
- Interest in organic products, apparel, home, or garden items; previous retail experience in similar settings is an advantage.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills; willingness to learn store processes and product knowledge.
