About Turnips
Turnips is one of the oldest and largest retailers of quality fruits, vegetables, and specialist foods based in the iconic Borough Market near London Bridge. Our stand incorporates a vibrant fresh juice bar, the popular hot food section serving our famous wild mushroom risotto and triple cooked chips, offering a unique culinary experience in the heart of Borough Market.
We are currently looking for retail sales assistants to join our team. Full-time and part-time vacancies are available, but candidates must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including at least one weekend shift. Exact shifts will be discussed during the interview.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be working on our produce section, hot food section, and/or juice bar. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up the display in the outlet
- Selling and till operation
- Interacting with customers and advising them about our offerings
- Cleaning, moving, and replenishing stock
Requirements
The right person for the job will have/be:
- Fluent in English, well-spoken, and confident
- Approachable and a good sales manner
- Experience of working in a similar role/sector would be beneficial (such as fruit & veg outlets, food industry, etc.)

- Salary will start at £12.71 per hour, going up to £14 per hour after successfully completing the probation period.
