About us
Ffern is a natural fragrance house founded on a simple belief — that fine fragrance should be a natural craft product, a liquid alive with the stories of the plants and the processes that go into it. We create one fragrance for each season of the year, and our Beak Street store is where that story comes fully to life: a calm, considered space built for slowing down, discovering, and connecting with the raw materials behind every bottle we make.
About the role
Our Retail Assistants are our Fragrance Specialists, and as a Fragrance Specialist you'll be the first point of contact for anyone who walks through our door - welcoming them, understanding what they're really looking for, and guiding them through the world of Ffern with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care.
This is a purely in-store role, focused entirely on the craft of hosting a beautiful, unhurried customer experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
