Retail Assistant

Reach for Remarkable

Location: Aldergrove Premier Shop, Aldergrove, Crumlin, Bt29 4BP

Pay rate: £12.71/hour

Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours/week, Mon – Fri. Weekends and Evenings

Shift times: 16:30 – 21:30 or 17:30 – 22:30

We’re looking for a Retail Assistant to work at Aldergrove Premier Shop. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit.

What you'll do:

  • Serve customers and process payments accurately
  • Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great
  • Receive deliveries and manage stock levels
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Support with opening and closing the retail unit.

What we're looking for:

  • You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here
  • Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene. No previous experience required but 1-2 years’ experience in food services or retail environment desirable.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own
  • Must Hold Drivers Licence and be able to drive to and from place of work. No local bus service available.
